This rectangle cushion features a distinctive badger carefully stitched onto a red and white herringbone Harris Tweed. It is the perfect gift for a badger fan or perhaps to remember a happy holiday spent in Scotland. Please allow 1-2 weeks for making time plus delivery.
The cushion measures approximately 50 x 35 cm (20" x 14") and comes with a removable eco friendly British sheep wool filled cushion pad which is secured inside the cover with two wooden buttons on the back.
The Harris Tweed is bought directly from a weaver on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, and the official Harris Tweed Orb label is sewn onto the back.
The badger is hand drawn and cut from felt, then embellished with intricate free motion embroidery detail. Free motion embroidery is like drawing with a sewing machine - it is all stitched by eye and no embroidery programmes are used, so each design is slightly different and unique.
Harris Tweed is 100% pure wool, so dry cleaning is recommended.
