Pet portrait commissions

Commission your own unique pet portrait, embroidered onto any of my products.

Using a photograph as reference, I hand draw and cut the animal design out of felt. The pieces are then embroidered onto a Harris Tweed background using free motion embroidery. This technique is like drawing with a sewing machine - similar to painting a portrait, only using threads instead of paint. No embroidery programmes are used, and the intricate texture and shading is all stitched by eye.

Once you have been in touch, you will need to email at least three high quality photographs to use as reference. Preferably one should be taken outside, or in a well lit room, as light is very important so that I'm able to see the true colours of your pet. 

Choose a Harris Tweed colour
Pick a colour for the background from the swatches below. If you're not sure, pick a couple and I can advise if they will work well once I've seen the photo of your pet.

Prices can vary depending on the complexity of the animal and sizes, but below is a general price guide for one animal on a product:

Tablet cases - £38 - £50 (depending on size)

UK postage: £2 - £6 (depending on the size of product)
