Commission your own unique project bag featuring your pet or favourite animal.
This medium size project bag would be perfect for a small knitting project and measures approximately 24 x 18 x 7 cm. The project bag will be lined with a patterned cotton lining with a zip closure.
The official Harris Tweed orb label is sewn on the back of the project bag.

Purchase the listing and please include an email address when ordering.
I will then email you to ask for some photos of your pet and to discuss colours.
Using the photos provided as reference, your pet or favourite animal will be hand drawn and cut from pieces of felt, then using my sewing machine, they will be embellished with free motion embroidery detail. This embroidery technique is like drawing with a sewing machine - no embroidery programmes are used, and it is all stitched by eye.
The portrait will be stitched onto a Harris Tweed colour of your choice. Please have a look at the swatch options and let me know which colours you like. Once I see the photos I can let you know if it will work well with the pet's colours.
Harris Tweed is made from 100% wool, so dry cleaning is recommended.
Once I receive the photos of your pet I will show you a rough mock-up of the layout and if you're happy I will start making the order. Please be aware that the colours may not always be a perfect match as it is my interpretation of what I see in the photos. I can only work with the thread and felt colours available to me, but I always strive to make the end result as accurate and as true to character as possible!
When finished, I will post your order and you will receive a notification. To keep my prices affordable I don't give work in progress updates or photos before posting, but happy to do so if requested.
Pet portraits are not refundable unless damaged in transit.
