A distinctive black faced sheep has been carefully stitched onto the front of this sunny yellow Harris Tweed project bag using free motion embroidery.
An ideal gift for a sheep lover, or perhaps just the ideal bag for your latest yarn project!
The project bag has a patterned cotton lining and a zip closure.
It measures approximately 24 x 18 x 7 cm.
The sheep is hand drawn and cut from pieces of felt, then using my sewing machine, it is embellished with free motion embroidered detail. This embroidery technique is like drawing with a sewing machine - no embroidery programmes are used, and it is all stitched by eye so each design is slightly different and unique.
The Harris Tweed is bought from a weaver in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The colours of the cloth are heavily influenced by the landscape and natural world. The official Harris Tweed orb label is sewn on the back of the project bag.
Harris Tweed is made from 100% wool, so dry cleaning is recommended.
Please get in touch if you would like a different colour, size or animal/bird design as I can make to order.
