The badger is hand drawn and cut from pieces of felt, then using my sewing machine, it is embellished with free motion embroidery feather detail. This embroidery technique is like drawing with a sewing machine - no embroidery programmes are used, and it is all stitched by eye so each design is slightly different and unique.
The Harris Tweed is bought from a weaver on the Isle of Harris in Scotland. The colours of the cloth are heavily influenced by the landscape and natural world, and woven by weavers using traditional methods passed down through the generations.
The zip pouch measures approximately 19.5 x 16.5 cm, and the official Harris Tweed orb label is sewn on the back of the purse.
Harris Tweed is made from 100% wool, so dry cleaning is recommended.
